About TRAMAINE

Tramaine Robinson born in sunny Clearwater, Florida is most inspired to care for the learning, and social emotional needs of children. Working as a special needs teacher in her early teaching years prepared her for the road ahead to advocate for so many children and their families. Teaching and learning begins in the home life. Raising a son with autism and who is also severely deaf has been a journey that has taught our family many lessons. Learning should always be a continued process. She is a certified PK-12 educator, she has coached, mentored, and taught students with varied learning capabilities. As a literacy coach she discovered the value in coaching others to engage children with print awareness and building on meaning as young as infancy. When she noticed the challenge of this with her son, she began developing print material to engage him with reading and vocabulary acquisition by incorporating symbols, pictures, and ASL signs. Later, she studied at Mercer University and became a Reading Specialist to further support the implementation of research -based strategies on language development, reading comprehension, and reading fluency. Currently she has received her leadership certification at the University of Georgia. She currently resides in metro-Atlanta and continues to teach reading and language arts to middle schoolers.
